We didn't design our technology in ivory towers; we built it during the busiest restaurant service hours, midnight boutique hotel operations, and at the very first moment of guest contact.
The tech world mostly looks at hospitality and gastronomy from the outside: there is a blindness of standardization that reduces tables to numbers and rooms to calendar squares, condemning businesses to clunky processes and heavy panels that are carbon copies of one another.
